CREDENTIALS

Carolyn Holbert has a Ph.D. in English. She has taught writing for over 15 years and has numerous publications to her credit. She has newspaper writing and editing experience, as well as general copy-writing and editing proficiency. She often tells her students that the difference between a good piece of writing or a good speech is not only what you have to say, but how you say it. She knows how to say it well and is ideally suited to putting your thoughts and expressions into the words you will remember for a lifetime.

Lori Jo Oswald, Ph.D., has been a professional writer and editor for almost 20 years. She was writer for Bay Area Bride and Groom Magazine and publisher of Alaska Brides Magazine. She has taught college-level English since 1986, and her writing career has included stints as a magazine editor, public relations writer, marketing writer, Web page writer and designer, technical writer, pet magazine publisher, business magazine and newspaper writer and columnist, and children's story writer.
